Council Meets Standards for Excellence
The Reading Recovery Council of North America meets national
standards for excellence developed for nonprofit organizations. (See
RRCNA Press Release.)
The Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code
for the Nonprofit Sector certifies that an organization’s governance
and management policies, practices, and procedures meet the highest
ethics and quality standards.
The Standards program originated with
Maryland Nonprofits. In Ohio, where RRCNA headquarters is
located, the program is administered by the Ohio Association of
Nonprofit Organizations. Of the tens of thousands of nonprofit
organizations in the U.S., fewer than 200 have achieved this
certification.
