Terms of Use
Scope
By using the readingrecovery.org website, you agree to these terms
and conditions of use. We may update or change terms and security
policies at any time without notice to you. As a website user, you
assume responsibility for periodically visiting this page to monitor
changes and agree to accept any changes, regardless of whether you
have reviewed them.
General information
Reading Recovery Council of North America (RRCNA) website is
provided as a service to RRCNA members and to all those interested
in early childhood literacy and professional development. Although
the website staff strives to ensure material presented at
www.readingrecovery.org is correct and
current, we do not guarantee that it is error-free. Please
contact us if you suspect
mistaken information anywhere on this website. RCCNA reserves the
right to remove any content from its website at any time.
Linking from the RRCNA website
The RRCNA website contains numerous links to other websites, which
are provided as a service to visitors. We make every effort to keep
such links current. Please
contact us if you find a broken link and are aware of the
updated URL to resolve the problem.
These terms and conditions apply only to the RRCNA website and
not to the sites of any other companies or organizations, including
those to which the RRCNA site may link. We are not responsible for
the availability of any other site to which the RRCNA site links,
nor do we endorse or take responsibility for the content of any
other site. RRCNA will not be held responsible or liable, directly
or indirectly, for any loss or damage caused or alleged to have been
caused to you in connection with your use of, or reliance on, any
content available on any other site.
Linking to the RRCNA website
RRCNA encourages linking to its website, both to the homepage at
www.readingrecovery.org or to specific
pages. No permission is required to establish such links, as long as
they are simple text links that resolve to pages from our site in
their own browser window. Links must clearly indicate RRCNA as the
source of linked pages or content. Should you wish to display RRCNA
website content on your own website pages, please contact our
permissions department.
RRCNA does occasionally change the website structure, delete
pages, and move pages to new URLs. We recommend that you check
periodically to ensure your links remain active. We do not assume
any responsibility in informing you of any changes to our website.
Copyright
All RRCNA publications, including print, electronic, and Web
formats, are protected by U.S. Copyright Law and are owned by RRCNA
unless otherwise noted. Materials are provided for the personal,
noncommercial use of purchasers of publications or visitors to the
RRNCA website. Any other reproduction, other than allowed by U.S.
fair use guidelines, requires prior written permission. This extends
to emailing downloaded files to others. Copying of RRCNA videos is
prohibited.
If you believe that anything on the RRCNA website infringes your
copyright, please let us know. Please contact our
communications director and we will see that your copyrighted
works are taken down.
RRCNA member materials
Individual members of the Reading Recovery Council of North America
are provided online access to journals and other publications.
Access is controlled by means of logging in with a unique username
and password. This log-in is provided to the RRCNA member only.
Individual log-ins should be kept confidential and not be shared,
nor should any materials downloaded from the Members Only area of
the website by an RRCNA member be distributed or reproduced without
permission.
E-commerce
The Online Store is a secure e-commerce website where visitors can
purchase RRNCA memberships, products, and publications. Visit our
security and privacy policy for information on the protection we
offer for online transactions.
RRCNA accepts online purchase orders with approval of a credit
application. Those using purchase orders agree the purchase order
rights may be revoked by RRCNA, at its sole discretion, if payment
is not made according to the agreed payment terms. Users of online
purchase orders must abide by the terms of the credit application
and online purchase order rules provided at the time of application
or approval of application. Contact us for more information
regarding use of purchase orders.

Governing law
These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the
laws of Ohio, USA, where RRCNA is incorporated. Accordingly, the
laws of Ohio will be used exclusively to construe, govern, and
enforce these terms, excluding all conflict of laws rules. Except as
provided in the injunctive relief section, any action related to or
arising out of these terms will be filed only in the Ohio courts,
and you consent to the jurisdiction of said courts.
Injunctive relief
In the event you breach or threaten breach of these terms of use,
you acknowledge and agree that RRCNA will be greatly and irreparably
damaged and the damages will be difficult to quantify. Therefore,
RRCNA may apply to any court of competent jurisdiction accepting
jurisdiction under this specific provision, that, regardless of the
governing law provision, will apply the laws of its own jurisdiction
in determining whether RRCNA will be granted an injunctive or other
equitable relief to stop your breach or your threat of breach,
without impairing, invalidating, negating, or voiding RRCNA’s rights
to relief in either law or equity.
Miscellaneous
If any provision of these terms and conditions are found unlawful,
void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision will be
considered severable from the remaining terms and conditions, and
will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining
provisions. These terms of use are the entire agreement between you
and RRCNA relating to the subject matter they contain. This
agreement may be modified only by our posting of changes to these
terms and conditions, or by written agreement signed by both
parties. Any inquiries concerning these terms and conditions of use
should be directed to our
communications director.
RRCNA's terms of use policies may be updated at any time, and it
is the website visitor's responsibility to review them periodically.
